In accordance with the campus mission to prepare students for fulfilling lives, 有意义的工作, and responsible citizenship, effective January 1, 2018, the University is 100% tobacco-free.

What does this mean?
The Tobacco-Free Policy applies to all University of Mount Union facilities, 财产, sponsored events and vehicles, 自有或租赁, regardless of location. Smoking and the use of tobacco products shall not be permitted in any enclosed place, 包括, 但不限于, 所有的办公室, 教室, 走廊, 候诊室, 卫生间, 会议室, 社会领域, performance venues and private residential space within University of Mount Union housing. Smoking and the use of tobacco products shall also be prohibited outdoors on all University of Mount Union campus 财产, 包括, 但不限于, 停车场, 路径, 字段, sports/recreational areas, 和体育场, as well as in all personal vehicles while on campus. This policy applies to all students, 教师, 工作人员, and other persons on campus, regardless of the purpose for their visit.
